Department of Health Clinics to Close Temporarily Next Week

Health Commissioner Julia Sheen announced today that Department of Health clinics will close temporarily at different periods during May 25-27, 2010, for staff training. The closures, for two-hour intervals, will occur on the following days:

Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - Morris F. deCastro Clinic on St. John will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - Community Health Clinic at the Schneider Regional Medical Center on St. Thomas will be closed from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Wednesday, May 26, 2010 - Community Health Clinic at the Schneider Regional Medical Center on St. Thomas will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

Thursday, May 27, 2010 - Community Health Clinic at the Charles Harwood Medical Complex on St. Croix will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Commissioner Sheen regrets any inconvenience to clients and said that normal hours will resume on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 following the Memorial Day holiday.
