The Department of Health Immunization Clinic on St. Croix will begin seeing patients from its regular quarters on the first floor at the Charles Harwood Medical Complex beginning next week.
Health Commissioner Julia Sheen said Wednesday that service operations had been temporarily shifted to the third floor while the first floor office was being renovated.
Sheen said that the Immunization Clinic at the Charles Harwood Medical Complex will be closed on Friday, October 1, 2010, to allow staff to relocate and be prepared to serve clients from its regular location beginning Monday, October 4, 2010.
Meanwhile, with the approach of the flu season, the Immunization Program has scheduled outreach activities for free flu vaccines in areas most accessible to the public. Immunization clinics territorywide will be closed during the events, she said.
Residents who want the seasonal flu vaccine can show up at an outreach nearest to their community. The schedule is as follows:

- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Plaza Extra East, St. Croix
On October 15, 2010
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Plaza Extra West St, Croix.
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Coral Bay Fire Station, St. John.
