The Department of Health successfully saw patients this morning; however, due to air conditioning issues, nonessential staff at the Charles Harwood Complex were allowed to leave early today.

Department of Health Reports No New Cases of Zika
The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) Department of Health reports no new cases of Zika in the territory this week. According to the weekly Zika surveillance report, the total number of confirmed positive cases in the USVI remains at 26, with 16 cases on St. Croix, 9 cases on St. Thomas and 1 on St. John.

Commissioner Designee Michelle S. Davis, PhD, is suspending services at the Charles Harwood Memorial Medical Facility in Christiansted and the Barbel Plaza in Charlotte Amalie.

No New Cases of Zika Reported in US Virgin Islands
The U.S. Virgin Islands' Department of Health (DOH) today reported no new cases of Zika in the territory. According to the weekly surveillance report, the total number of confirmed positive cases in the USVI remains at 24, with 15 of these cases occurring on St. Croix, 8 cases on St. Thomas and 1 on St. John.

Department of Health Announces Survey to Assess the Health Risk Factors in the Territory
Virgin Islands Department of Health Commissioner Designee, Michelle S. Davis would like to inform the people of the territory that the department has begun a survey to better understand the magnitude of chronic disease issues here in the Virgin Islands.
